My problem is what soil/loam is beneath this... dont want to create layering or a perched water table... so so many bad practices over the years... the worst for me is over topdressing the greens. The clay under level is not going anywhere. A problem with many British golf clubs. Its sounds good selling this topdressing program to the golfer saying it will control waterlogged greens. Rubbish. I do like the rope drainge though.
